Ifö Ceramics AB specializes in the production of very large post and hollow insulators, and, since 1988, boasts the world’s most powerful isostatic press for the production of insulators of up to 2300 mm in length and 750 mm in diameter. The isostatic production method, developed here in Bromölla, makes it possible to reduce the production lead time to 2-3 weeks compared with 7-8 weeks for the conventional method. This enables the company to meet even the most demanding customer needs and delivery times.
With its flexible CAD-CAM technology this plant is specialized in short series productions, not least, for complex designs. Insulators for electrostatic precipitators form another important production field. These products can be designed according to customer specifications and can be used with gas temperatures up to 450 ° C. Ifö Ceramics AB is one of the world’s leading producers for this type of insulator. New developments include wear resistant components for process industries, such as pulp plants.

Since the beginning of 2002, PPC is present in China. Our Joint Venture is located in the city Wuxi in Jiangsu province, about 2 hours drive north west of Shanghai.
This Joint Venture is specialized in assembling metal parts onto insulators. The facilities are brand new and the operation is "State of the Art".
