PPC Insulators Price Increase Notice for North America Customers

Dear Customer,

As 2021 continues, disruptions to the shipping supply chain continue due to lingering container shortages, global port congestions, vessel spacing, blank sailings, and lack of domestic trucks.
In 2020, rates to ship a 40’ container were averaging $4,000-$5,000 per container. The current market is reporting prices of approximately $30,000 per container. To further complicate matters, the steamship lines are not entertaining traditional long-term contracts in favor of the far more lucrative spot market/premium pricing.

Therefore, effective immediately PPC is forced to raise prices for our products, you will receive a new blanket quote reflecting the price increase. For products currently in stock, PPC will honor the existing pricing for the next 15 days from the date of this letter.

PPC encourages our customers to reach out to our regional sales management, rep sales agencies, and customer service teams for further clarification as needed. In the meantime, PPC will continue to monitor the transportation industry volatility and adjust prices accordingly.

We value the relationship and confidence our customers place upon us to produce and stock critical items. We appreciate your business and look forward to your continued support as we navigate through these uncertain times.

Thank you,
