For the PPC ČAB manufacturing plant of PPC Insulators group, we are looking for a new team member.

The Network and Computer Systems Administrator as a part of an international team is an IT professional who performs a variety of technical duties related to the configuration, operations, maintenance, troubleshooting and support of the network, servers, desktop, and storage infrastructure for the PPC Group and is reporting directly to head of IT.

Your tasks:

Manage the local IT infrastructure and applications while ensuring the expected systems availability and security.

Installation and administration of Microsoft-Windows server environment (Windows Server, Exchange, SharePoint, file servers including DFS replication) within a hybrid solution of local and data center hosting.

Managing of Windows client devices (configuration, updates, security), mobile devices and tablets.

Installation, monitoring and maintenance of Microsoft SQL servers.

Administration of Active Directory and Domain, Firewall, Citrix and terminal servers

Monitoring of network, services and backups.

Analyzing of problems troubleshooting including escalation.

Responsible for creating and maintaining it policies and disaster recovery plan with other senior staff.

Manage IT Projects within the framework of local applications and infrastructure.

Your profile:

You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology Systems or a related field, with a minimum of 1-year comprehensive network and computer systems administration experience.

Or if you have a different educational background alternatively a minimum 4 years progressively responsible IT support and administration experience is expected.

You are fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing); Other language skills are welcome.

You’re comfortable with Windows Server virtual environments (Xen, VMware).

You have expert knowledge in Switching, Routing, Firewalling, and VPN.

You have the first experience in Microsoft 365 and cloud solutions and in On-Premise services as hybrid solution

Knowledge of how to handle software distribution tools (e.g. SCCM) is a plus for you.

As a proactive problem-solver, you like to achieve improvements in IT infrastructure.

You like to work with other people to give support, find new solutions, etc.
